Trickle
trickle, verb (trickling, tricklin', trickled):
- Probably means the act of buying new (or new to you) hardware that is an upgrade for existing lesser-equipped hardware, that then causes that lesser-equipped hardware to subsequently "trickle" into an even lesser system, and so on. The Purls often have storage-related trickles in order to accommodate "turning MythTV loose on the Olympics", where-in they record as much televised Olympics as possible.
