Computer Names (Linux name where applicable in the case of multi-boot)

Sorted Alphabetically (bold means computer is active)

  • acacia - Kaput. Name available for use.
  • amidala - Kaput. Name available for use.
  • christina - MythTV Server. In Anastasia's Room.
  • cinderella - Main Server. The Big Enchilada. The HNIC. The black server in the office.
  • coroncora - Desktop, general use. Computer with LCD in spare room.
  • deanna - Desktop, general use. The Gateway laptop aka Anastasia's computer.
  • eliza - Intranet Server. The Mac Mini in the office.
  • eva - Old Windows server. Too noisy to use regularly. The rack-mount (very flat and large) server in the garage.
  • fiona - Desktop, general use. The Asus netbook on James' desk in office. Currently serving as haproxy.
  • jessica/merida - Desktop, general use. The Dell laptop.
  • joana - OpenNMS monitor. Virtual system running on cinderella.
  • kara - Raspberry Pi 3 in the Office, by talizorah. Future authentication and openvpn server
  • katarina - MythTV Server in the spare room. Has a monitor sitting on it currently.
  • lea - Raspberry Pi (Model B) Server by the fireplace. Home automation (X10 <-> smartplug) server.
  • log - Log server. Virtual system running on cinderella.
  • lolita - MythTV Master Backend. A virtual system on cinderella.
  • marie-laure - Desktop, general use. The Toshiba laptop.
  • sara - MythTV Server. Connected to the little living room TV.
  • sevena - Auxiliary server. Non-LCD-having computer (without a monitor on it) in spare room.
  • sia - Raspberry Pi 2 in the Office. Alternate portal. Haproxy.
  • stella - Carputer, Myth frontend. The carputer (currently in sevena's old Home Theater black case in living room).
  • susannah - MythTV Server. The Myth computer in our living room (silver case).
  • talizorah - Desktop, general use. My computer in the Office.
  • uhura - MythTV Server. The Myth computer in our bedroom.
  • veruca - MythTV Server in the spare room. Has a Hauppauge HD-PVR sitting on top of it.

Living Room

  • coroncora - Desktop, general use. Computer Anastasia uses for homework.
  • sara - MythTV Server. Connected to the Sports TV.
  • susannah - MythTV Server. The Myth computer in our living room (silver case).

Master Bedroom

  • uhura - MythTV Server. The Myth computer in our bedroom.

A.R.'s Bedroom

  • christina - MythTV Server. In Anastasia's Room.

Spare Room

  • katarina - MythTV Server in the spare room. Has a monitor sitting on it currently. Sits next to amidala.
  • virthost1 - Virtualization server. Computer not on the rack next to veruca.
  • veruca - MythTV Server in the spare room. Has a Hauppauge HD-PVR sitting on top of it. Sits next to virthost1.
  • sylvia - Virtualization and file server. Yellow Google Search Appliance server.
  • amidala - File server (openmedia). Computer in the black case with a 4TB WD USB3 drive on it. Sits in the computer rack next to katarina.
